Sfendami Mountain Festival
The SMF- Sfendami Mountain Festival is a two-day event held each year in mid April in Sfendami, Pieria, Macedonia, Greece. In 2012 it is being repeated for the sixth consecutive year.
The hill of the Prophet Elias has a panoramic view of Mount Olympus and of the River Delta Aliakmonas. On the 21 and the 22 of April mountain biking and mountain running races will take place with all the appropriate facilities to accommodate both athletes and visitors.

The mountain running race -
23km with 9.2km trails and dirt roads with a difference in altitude of 880m
The mountain bike race -
42km including 19 and 23 km paths and forest roads with a difference in altitude of 1650m
The events are independent of each other and athletes are able to participate in one or both.

Directions to Sfendami...
Sfendami is near the junction of the highway Katerini to Thessaloniki. From Thessaloniki to Katerini it is located 45km along the highway at the junction for Makrigialos.
